Is evista a good drug for osteoporosis?
From the few patients that I have seen, it
appears that evista does work well. It is used to prevent osteoporosis in post
menopausal women. Another benefit of the drug is that it can also reduce the
risk of breast cancer. Adverse effects of the drug include leg cramps and hot flashes.
It is also known to cause blood clots so I recommend you wear compression
stockings and remain active.
