I am a 33-year-old male and am
frequently told I have a narcissistic personality. Is there a medication to
treat this?
Narcissistic personality is
not treated with medications. You need to go for psychotherapy. This includes
group/family therapy that is focused on some nonsense. I am not a
psychotherapist and have very little idea what they talk about in these
sessions. I doubt simply talking can change personality.
In any case, medications are only used to treat any associated
disorders that you may have like anxiety, depression or impulsivity.
Narcissistic personality is quite resistant to treatment.
