Prolia for osteoporosis

Can you tell me what is Prolia?
To start off, it is a rip off. Prolia is a newer injectable drug used to treat post menopausal women with osteoporosis. The drug is only given by injection once every 6 months. Adverse effects of the drug include back pain, flu like symptoms and muscle pain. Finally you should know that the drug is prohibitively expensive, and I certainly do not recommend it. Most insurance companies do not even cover the drug because it is very expensive. If you have osteoporosis and are post menopausal, ask the doctor for a bisphosphonate. Leave Prolia for people who have money to waste.
