Low sex drive in a female

I am a 29-year-old female and have low sex drive. Is there any medication I can take to reverse this?
Low sex drive in females is quite common and unfortunately difficult to treat. There are no FDA approved medications for treatment of this disorder. Many women with this disorder are often prescribed bullshit psychotherapy. I have no idea if this works but it sure is not cheap. You have to go for many sessions and each session can cost $100-$300. Am really not sure how talking crap can improve libido-but gullible and foolish people with money often enroll for this therapy.

The one drug that has been evaluated in small studies for low libido is bupropion. This antidepressant has been shown to be effective in women with low sex drive.  It is not known if the reversal of libido is due to its antidepressant effects. The only thing I can recommend is for you to ask your doctor for a trial. You may need to take it for several weeks before you see any benefits. Bupropion can also help you lose weight and discontinue smoking- at least this is what the manufacturers claim.
